What fees does TaskIt charge?

 
There is no fee to join TaskIt.
  • Both clients and service providers can sign up for free.
  • TaskIt charges a service fee only when a project is done. This fee is deducted from the total amount paid for the task and is only processed once the client marks the task as completed and is satisfied with the work.


How do I sign up?

 
For Clients:
  1. Go to Login/Sign Up.
  2. Click Create an Account.
  3. Choose "As a Client" to create a client account.
  4. Enter the requested details and create your account.
  5. Log into your account.
  6. Post a job.

For Service Providers:
  1. Go to Login/Sign Up.
  2. Click Create an Account.
  3. Choose "As a Service Provider".
  4. Enter the requested details and create your account.
  5. Log into your account.
  6. Complete your profile by adding your skills, experience, and relevant details.
  7. Browse available jobs and place bids.

How does TaskIt work for clients?

 
As a client, you can easily get work done by posting a job on TaskIt.

There are two types of jobs:
  • Fixed Jobs: Choose a service provider directly based on their skills, experience, and your budget.
  • Biddable Jobs: Allow service providers to submit bids, compare offers, negotiate terms, and hire the best fit.

How does TaskIt work for service providers?

TaskIt allows service providers to secure jobs conveniently. Simply:
  • Create a profile.
  • Add your skills and experience.
  • Browse available jobs.
  • Apply or place a bid.
  • Negotiate terms with the client.
  • Begin working upon selection.
By joining TaskIt, service providers can expand their client base and secure consistent work opportunities.


Will TaskIt assign work to me?

 
TaskIt does not assign work directly.
It is a marketplace where clients post job requirements.
  • Service providers must search for jobs that match their skills, apply or bid on them, and wait for client responses.
  • If your profile and bid meet the client’s expectations, you will be hired to complete the task.

What is TaskIt?

 
TaskIt is an online service platform that connects businesses with professional service providers. Companies can post short-term or long-term projects, receive bids from service providers, or directly select a provider from available options, negotiate terms, and hire them to complete the work.
  • Clients can choose from a wide range of professional services at competitive rates. 
  • Service Providers can apply for various available projects and secure part-time or full-time work opportunities on the platform.

Your TaskIt Account

How do I close my account on TaskIt?

To delete your account, go to Dashboard > Account Settings and select Delete My Account.

Important:
  • Ensure all your jobs are completed or closed. You won’t be able to delete your account if there are ongoing jobs.
  • Withdraw all funds from your wallet to avoid any issues later.
  • Deleting your account is permanent — you will need to create a new account if you wish to use TaskIt again.

Can I change my email address?

Yes, you can update your email anytime.

Go to Dashboard > Account Settings > Change Credentials, enter your new email, verify your password, and click Save.

A verification link will be sent to your new email—click it to confirm the change.

Can I change my name?

Yes, you can update your name.

Go to Dashboard > Account Settings > Personal Info, edit your name, and click Save.
 

Placing Requests

How long does it take for a skill request to be accepted?

It typically takes 7 working days for the TaskIt team to review skill requests.

If your request is still pending after this period, you can reach out to support for further assistance.

What if my skill request isn’t accepted?

Skill requests are usually reviewed within 7 working days. If you don’t see an update, you can contact TaskIt Support for assistance.

If your request is denied, it means the skill is not approved and won’t be offered as a service on TaskIt.

What if I can't find my skill in the list?

If your skill is not listed, you can submit a request for it to be added. The TaskIt team will review and approve requests as needed.

You can submit requests directly from your Dashboard under the following categories:
  • Spoken Language Request
  • Skills Request

 

Ready-to-Go Services

What are Ready-to-Go Services?

 
Ready-to-Go Services allow service providers to offer pre-packaged services with clear pricing and inclusions. Instead of waiting for clients to post jobs, providers can create service packages that clients can purchase directly.

How do I create a Ready-to-Go Service?

  1. Go to Your Dashboard and navigate to Ready-to-Go Services.
  2. Add a New Service by adding a title and a detailed description. Choose the Category (strat typing and the dropdown will appear. In Identifier please put the name of your Service)
  3. Set Up Three Packages – Basic, Standard, and Premium.
  4. Define what is included in each package.
  5. Set a price for each package.
  6. Submit for Admin Approval – Your service will not be published immediately. The admin must review and approve it before it becomes available to clients.
  7. Once Approved, Your Service Goes Live, and clients can purchase it directly.

Can I edit my Ready-to-Go Service after publishing?

Yes, but any changes you make will need admin approval again before they go live. This ensures that all services meet platform standards.

How do clients buy my Ready-to-Go Services?

Clients can browse Ready-to-Go Services and purchase a package that fits their needs. Instead of posting a job and waiting for proposals, they can instantly hire you by selecting and paying for a package you’ve set up.

Why should I offer Ready-to-Go Services?

  • Faster Sales – Clients can purchase your service immediately.
  • Clear Pricing – No back-and-forth negotiations; prices are pre-set.
  • More Visibility – Your services will be listed for clients to browse.

    What is Direct Booking?

    Direct Booking allows service providers to set their availability and accept bookings directly from clients. Providers can manage their schedules through their dashboard and decide whether to accept bookings manually or enable auto-booking for instant confirmations.

    How do I set up my availability for Direct Booking?

    To set your availability:

    - Go to your Dashboard.
    - Navigate to the Availability Calendar section.
    - You will see a weekly calendar with time slots.
    - Click on a time to make it available or drag across multiple hours to create a time block.
    - Adjust your schedule as needed

    What is Minimum Booking Duration?

    This setting determines the shortest time a client can book your services. For example, if you set it to 2 hours, clients cannot book you for less than that.

    What is Booking Before Duration?

    This defines how far in advance a client must book your services. If set to 6 hours, clients must book at least 6 hours before the appointment.

    How does Auto Booking work?

    If Auto Booking is OFF, multiple clients can request the same time slot. You will receive a list of requests and can choose which client to accept. Once you confirm a booking, the slot will no longer be available for others.
     
    If Auto Booking is ON, bookings are automatically approved. Once a client books a time slot, it is marked as unavailable, and no other clients can book it.

    Can I change my availability after setting it?

    Yes, you can update your availability anytime through the Availability Calendar in your dashboard.
